The 100-400 TELEPHOTO ZOOM LENS saves the day!

Sometimes nature makes it hard to do landscape photography, but luckily the telephoto lens saves the day! I use the Sony 100-400mm lens in this example, however, you can basically use any long lens from any brand to get the same results as long as the focal length is the same.

The sign of a true 'artist'. Not just a photographer. No matter the place or conditions you always seem to conjure up a beautiful composition. Hats of to you Mads! Loving your channel.

Hej Mads, I really enjoy your videos, especially when you are at more "average" locations (as opposed to Faroe Islands, Iceland, etc).

Keep up the great work!

Nature is truly fickle. Being able to pull good photos from so so conditions is hard work, great job. And yes, the Smoky Mountains are spectacular, they're a just a few miles from me. I tend to go to less crowded areas. Thumbs up Mads!

Going out today, after a bit of a break from photographing, month or so, and I have a forest/woodland area I am going to near the holiday location. I packed the 16-35, but after watching this, the 100-400 made its way into the bag too 😀😀😀

I don't know how I've never noticed this before in photos with good misty separation between the subject and background. The parallax effect optical illusion of three dimensionality while panning across the zoomed in photos was quite pronounced. A testament to your skill at creating the effect, whether you intended to or not! Great work, Mads!

Your area has a lot in common with mine, Iowa, USA. Flat and often not very photogenic! I love seeing how you work with what you have available! Most of us can’t access the glamorous locations! Thanks for your work! I’m always impressed!

Love it when you include wildlife in your landscapes, the Swan shots were beautiful, the fog images weren’t shabby either 😂👍

Those are some really lovely photos Mads, and the 100-400mm really came into its own here. 👍

I usually take wide-angle pictures, but recently started using my Tamron 100-400mm as well. It works quite well. :)

I wrote my first comment much too soon. Your videos have always been very detailed and a pleasure to people like me who are trying to learn the detailed ideas of photography. Thank you Mads.

I know I must tailor my photography as to where I’m at, but I’m envious of anyone who lives even close to mountains or really even deserts. I am in the middle of everything. No landscape, no street like N.Y. or London. That just means I’ve got to be a better photographer.
