Take No Notice of them my friend. The legend Still lives on because they have taken notice of him. Lee never ever had to prove anything to himself or angbody else, that was his point. What you think he was some kind of coward. He brought M/A to the attention of the West and then onto the world. A One off human being, who you cannot repeat.

Bruce was sent to America by his parents because he was always in fights and was getting into problems often with the police. When arriving in Seattle within months he acquired students teaching them kung fu. Amongst them 3 boxers of which 1 fought professionally and the other was a champion in the air force during his service. The 3rd one boxed but was actually a judo black belt champion. The one from the air force was at that time a notorious street fighter. 225 pounds 6'4 foot. The others also heavier and taller then Bruce who was 19 at that time. Bruce bested them in speed and technique. Demile, the air force champion was all tied up and couldn't do anything. Ed Hart, profesional boxer, with "Deadly Hands" according to Demile, and who loved to pick on bullies in bars knocking them out, couldn't touch Bruce. They would have gladly knocked Bruce out to show this little guy what real fighting was, as James Demile once said. However they became Bruce's students. It's not because a fight isn't recorded on film that fights on streets don't occur. Elite special forces don't compete in the ring neither, would you claim then that they can't

The disrespect for Bruce Lee is big and it makes me sad seeing so many people saying he can’t fight. He obviously knew how to fight and wasn’t dumb to fight just anyone. You have to think logically and know how to fight people. With his speed and strength, he could defeat many people. He’s a human being who did what many people never could achieve. His six inch punch looks very cool to see.

No way he trained for 5 years with IP Man. My old teacher in the same class told me 2 years as a young teenager but he was just another normal student at that time but after coming back for a further year he was very hungry to learn and learned rapidly and that's when some current students got jealous of him and put pressure IP Man not to teach Bruce as he was not fully Chinese as an excuse.. So IP Man got Wong Shun Leung to teach him, a senior student at the time. Anyway our system has all boxing movements in it its not a like traditional Kung Fu style but it comes down to the conditioning and intensity. Same with anything.

I'm aware of two occasions where Bruce challenged karate students. You wouldn't like the way they turned out.

he had plenty of roof top fights and others later on I cannot remember the details.

He lost to Chuck Norris in a Karate competition. It doesn’t mean much, he wasn’t a Karate exponent

Bruce Lee was always challenged in fights as Bruce Lee had quoted himself about that... Just was never recorded. Not everything can be recorded ... but many have that confusing about Bruce Lee...

If tournament fights are the only way to validate a fighter, does it mean the shooters in the olympic are better than those in the military?
Sports, tournaments mean nothing to a person's ability to kick a**

I love Bruce Lee and his movies. so don't get me wrong here. But the ture is Hong Kong boxers at that time were not that good and I think the present time boxers like Naoya Inoue or Pacquaio can knock out Gary Elms in first round.

So once again...
Bruce Lee was sent to the USA after 1 year of training in Wing Chun,
so where did 5 years of training happen?🤔

Bruce was naturally talented in fighting no doubt about it. But we all just need to remember everybody has limits. So does bruce.
But for sure bruce can beat the shit out of michael jai white lol white seriously thought sparring is the same as actual fighting.
