Franklin D. Roosevelt is one of America's most iconic presidents and arguably the most influential man in 20th century history, including holding the distinction of being the only US President to serve more than 2 terms, but what if that changed? What if FDR never ran for a third term? Who would succeed him? How would WWII turn out?

Since Roosevelt had the pull to easily get the nomination, he or his faction probably can stop Garner.
Whoever followed him was not going to be a vocal enemy of his accomplishments.
Fun video, looking forward to the next one.

I believe FDR would have designated his chief aide Harry Hopkins as his successor rather than Garner, and he would have easily gotten the nomination. Hopkins probably would have pulled out a win against either Wendell Willkie, Thomas Dewey or Charles Lindbergh. After that, not much would have changed except maybe the armed forces would have integrated during the war rather than in 1948. Since Hopkins (who likely would have won a second term in 1944) died in 1946, his vice president would have taken over, probably the one he ran with in 1940. Maybe James Farley?
