This video shows a hydraulic jump in the North Fork of the Palouse River in Colfax, WA. At this location, flow exits a natural channel and enters a transition through a steeper engineered channel. The transition leads to a milder rectangular channel in the vicinity of the bridge. Further downstream the channel section is a trapezoid. The engineered channel contains a rectangular low flow channel.
