EVERY priest in and around the world ought to take note of this teaching. IF you're NOT a Levite (descendant of Aaron) you have no authority to perform priestly duties in the temple.

Excellent video, as usual. However, 49:50 - isnt it likely that Josephus did the same work that you just did, comparing Kings, Chronicles and Isaiah? Thats his source, surely.

The far more notable question is WHY is it that Kings doesnt mention this earthquake?

The call of isaiah to blind and deafen the people appears to continue until the comming of the suffering servant.

Isaiah 42.18 and 43.8

Then 48.8 YHWH opens their ears to understand they were always rebels.

In ch 6 Isiah said he "saw" et Adonai. This is NOT to be taken literally. YHWH's parameters for a prophet's visions and/or dreams are clearly laid out at Nu 12:6-9. God "makes myself known" to his prophets in visions or dreams... all his prophets. If these parameters are kept in mind, one cannot mistake any reports about "seeing God" for being literal. That's because "No one can "see Me and live"... "no one has EVER SEEN God", etc. ...unless God was just kidding. The "only" man to have ever "seen God" was Moses and even he didn't actually "see" the face of God but only a remnant of his "backside" passing that was mostly obscured from Moses by God' "hand" lest he die from actually seeing God's face. That was the closest anybody EVER came to "seeing God and living." Perhaps if people thought of them as "avatar-agents" or just "avatars" it would be easier to keep God's "appearances" from causing so much debate because, after all, he is "NOT a God of confusion." Excellent teaching... as usual. Shalom
