I really appreciate Nikhil saying that these foods are very expensive and not necessarily attainable for most Indian people. It's fun to see the differences in products, but it is important to remember that these foods aren't cheap and not everyday items for everyone. Thank you for giving context for those of us outside of India.

It's crazy that the Indian and American prices are so close. In India you could probably feed a family of four all day for the price of one of those lattes.

Man Nikhil's humor really hits my spot perfecly! He is the best host to represent India, Hands Down!

I would love to see India's restaurants compared to Japan's restaurants next.

Or, bring in a new country like Brazil to join the Food Wars Universe.

Two of the best moments in the entire series were in this video.

1) Nikhil saying “I will never give anything a chance ever again”

2) Joe gesturing to a can of whipped cream and saying “You know I always keep this thang on me”

"Genuinely, I have had spoonfuls of sugar that are more savoury than this" 😂
This really got me. Humour is on top form .

There is MASSIVE coffee and tea culture here but Starbucks is not considered a part of it just because of how ridiculously expensive it is and taste differences.

I just want to say this. Hearing someone say the name have a teardrop
Thank you, not often but always happy to hear my name said as it is without correction.

A friend of mine, Arian, told a Starbucks employee his name is spelled just like Brian, but with an A.
They wrote Abrian

The ‘chai tea’ thing is so true it’s like when you say naan bread’ when naan means bread in Hindi

I spent a month in Hyderabad and LOVED the Starbucks. So much better than here in Seattle. The tea lemonade was amazing. The food was INCREDIBLE

Also plastic is banned in India that's why you see only paper cups everywhere... Thumbs up on that 👍🏻

It be great if Joe visits the other hosts in their respective countries and tries out their fast food in-person to see how they compare to him with the US versions and/or go to franchises that's only available in those countries.

Really enjoyed Nikhil's evaluation of the drinks. I feel like he should host more! I find most SB drinks too sweet too, but still go there for my caffeine fix. He's right though, if they maybe could just tone down the sweetness a notch, the drinks would be perfect.

I'm halfway through this video and Nikhil has me in stitches! He's a great addition, funny, and super cute!

My cousin owns a cafe and we serve all kinds of coffee. I have been to Starbucks once before (it's way too expensive). At our cafe we have 2 sizes regular and large. Regulars are around 100 bucks and 120 for large. I don't know why Starbucks charges 3 times more than that. Last month we saw a small decline in our sales and it was just because Starbucks opened up in Jalandhar. 1st one to be opened here. But all customers are back. In a tier 2 city like ours no one likes overpriced sugar syrup.

40Rs for a filter coffee is still ridiculous, you can get good ones for just 10-15Rs.

It's not just about being 'expensive'. Many a times people feel it's not worth it. Just think you are buying a cup of coffee for 500 bucks when you can literally get 2-3 good meals in that amount. So people usually go for local cafes which serve good quality, good taste coffee at less than a fifth of the price.
