I just got mine today, and based on what you're saying, I guess it doesn't sound good in a Living room. Because I have it in my bedroom and.... I can't tell you how overwhelming the bass is. Of course the highs and mids are there but I'm a bass head, and the bass from the subwoofer, EVEN THE SURROUND SOUND SPEAKERS Can give something like JBLs BOOM BOX a HUGE run for their money and that's WITHOUT the Woofer, so I'm COMPLETELY satisfied

I’m no speaker expert but I have the soundbar its booming, such an awesome bar. can’t wait to get the rest of the set It does not sound cheap or feel cheap to me at all Roku does amazing job with the pricing. Good people these Roku people understand goodnesses in Gaming and movies to music Quality all the way down to giving the people Quality over high pricing, straight up Santa Claus, love Roku People. Ya I feel like designers care for the people with this soundbar blast.

With the newest software update to 9.4 released today, you should now have the ability to control the volume on the rear speakes.

You also have sound settings that only show up when you watch something on netflix or other streaming services. Click the star button and you have some other sound settings not available on the audio settings menu.

There are a lot more sound settings if you use the Roku app on your phone. Bass, treble, surround level, etc. Great app, easy to use.

Its for the people who just want to set up and watch movies hassle free. U can adjust sound but not nearly as much as a sonos. I think it sounds great in my bed room with sub and sound bar only.

For the record, they DO NOT have to be paired with the soundbar. They can be used with any Roku TV. The soudbar is not required if you have a Roku TV. Not sure why everyone gets this wrong.

Nope, This is a Wal-Mart brand (ONN) that costs about the same as the real ROKU. They are the same design but made by different people. It is in essence a legal knockoff. The Warranty is not by Roku ...and not Walmart but by some third party for Wal-Mart. These may be great but for near the same money...I am buying the Roku brand.

Walmart bought the onn. And they use it to partner with other companies to offer a cheap alternative.... The onn. Roku is manufactured from Roku it's just exclusively for Walmart.... The onn. Roku sounds better in a smaller room like a bedroom....
