U should try the soft reset every so often to reset power up on tv… when u turn off the TV it goes on standby… next time when u power on the TV go to settings n about… it tells u timeup on the Roku TV like xx days xx hrs… I usually do a soft reset like once a week… setting; power; restart … it should do a soft reset… I believe ur tv might have done a soft reset when u were doing this video… how are the speakers doing…

Does it have to an onn roku TV for the onn roku subwoofer to work?

Check batteries on Roku remote. Check circuit breaker or on/off on outlet brick.
