What are the pros and cons of working remotely?

A new study from Harvard Business School says geographic flexibility can save money for businesses and staffers. Researchers found employees who worked remotely raised revenue and productivity and boosted their local economy. LinkedIn senior editor-at-large Jessi Hempel discusses the benefits of working remotely.

I worked from home for the last 5 years of my employment with a large insurance company. It was absolutely the best ever. I was offered that opportunity for 2 years prior, but was afraid of the isolation. Couldn't have been more wrong. It was a great experience and I would love to get another chance to do it.

Why does the Linkedin app make it so hard to find these type of jobs?

I work for a very flexible company, and often time I work remotely, depending on my obligations. I find that I sometimes work more efficiently when I'm by myself in comparison to when I'm working at the office. This video was very insightful though :)

The only problem I am finding about people working remotley from home, is that they are not getting their office supplies from their employer, they are emptying out local stores and Walmart of ink cartridges. I was asking why my on line order was canceled, many are emptying supplies from local stores by using the company's expense account than obtaining supplies from their employer.

it's so bad that I am working 24/7 now that the bosses think we are sitting at home relaxing all the time.
