I’ve been sitting on over $545K equity from a home sale and I’m not sure where to go from here, is it a good time to buy into stocks or do I wait for another opportunity?. As an lnvestment enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. .

Started my portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after watching one of your videos. In terms of share price, VOO is way up (22.25%) and VUG is up (39.62%). Thanks for the education!

Very valuable rules for anybody who wants to build wealth . We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that while most people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I'm just focused on making better investments and earning more as recession fear increases.

After investing from my salary of 350k for 4 years, I've only made about 8% total, or 2% per year, which my friends say is very low. My employer 401k of $220K returns about 4%. What would you advice to do with my portfolio for improved returns?

My primary concern is how to grow my reserve of $300k which has been sitting duck since forever with zero to no gains, sure I know the risks of short term gains are much greater but if well managed one'd make a killing, am I wrong?

The Market have been suffering over the past month, with all the three indexes recording losses in recent weeks. My $400, 000 portfolio is down by approximately 20%, any recommendations to scale up my returns before retirement will be highly appreciated.

Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, I had only $78k to my name at 42 when I first woke up to this reality. I chose the stock market as a medium of growth, got an excellent financial advisor, Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets.

People say it's never too late to start investing, but after my recent horrendous divorce at 59, it can be difficult to not have anxiety about the economy and retirement. Is there any idea how an old timer like me could see 7-figures before 65? I've set asides $200k to fire up my goal.

I have a 3 fund portfolio consisting of 33% S&P, 33% Total stock, and 33% international. I feel a need to focus on complete growth so I went 100% stocks, but does the SP500 and TSM overlap too much to make sense holding both? However I’ve been in the red for a month now. I work hard for my money, so investing is making me a nervous sad wreck. I don’t know if I should sell everything, sit and just wait but watching my portfolio dwindle away is such an eye -sore.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasized for first-time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Well, basically times are uncertain, the market is out of control, and banks are gradually failing. I am working on a ballpark estimate of $5M for retirement, and I have a good 6-figure loaded up for this, could there be any opportunity for a boomer like me? I'm nearly 60.

I’m already dollar cost averaging but I’ve been holding onto a lot of cash as well. I recently put most of it into stocks because it was just sitting there. Most of it went to dividend stocks so I’m not too worried. The goal is to invest for dividend and the stocks were at a recent low so I’m not worried long term. Sooner I start the more dividends I’ll have to reinvest.

I've kept much of my savings in cash for safety, but I'm unsure if it's right for retirement. Contemplating investing $400K in stocks, as I've heard investors can profit in tough times. Unsure about my next move.

Most Americans find it hard to retire comfortably amid economy downtrend. Some have close to nothing going into retirement, my question is, will you pay off mortgage as a near-retiree, or spread money for cashflow, to afford lifestyle after retirement?

From my perspective, this highlights the importance of having a competitive advantage as investors. Merely mirroring the market strategies of others is insufficient in achieving optimal results. I am currently grappling with the decision to invest in the current market, as it presents both uncertainty and opportunity. Could you share your insights on this matter?

The stock market rally started Thursday strong but reversed solidly lower, undercutting the lows of the prior few days. It's a reason to be cautious in the very short term. But the pullback could be setting the stage for another solid advance. Tesla (TSLA) continued to climb Thursday, even though the EV giant pared intraday gains. TSLA stock has now more than doubled from its Jan. 6 bear-market low, I'm still at a crossroads deciding if to liquidate my $238k stock portfolio, what’s the best way to take advantage of this bear market?

The system is failing as a result of both government and federal policy. In the next days, the banking crisis would have to be epic and gigantic for the FED to decide not to raise interest rates. This won't happen; an increase and a crash are coming. There will be more negative portfolios this 2nd half of 2023 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.
