The standard 440 Mopar made about 330 horsepower factory, which was one of their slower big block. Something must be severely wrong with that engine. Motorhome transmissions are also geared really low for more wheel torque, so if you bought the exact same transmission as the motorhome one, then I'd say that's your problem
