Love this game. It's played in various ways, in various cultures around the world. I own 2 copies and it's always a hit. (Back in the 80s we played a version with playing cards called President and Assholes. That seems appropriate today)!

I think the game is unfair right from the beginning. Why: because the first person who starts the game can get rid of waaaay more cards, and not only in the first turn. This person can decide the strategy and in my experience there is a very high probability that this person wins at the end.
