My dad has a 1971 H1 500 and he said it was one of the most fun and terrifying bike he had ever had. Of course he didn’t keep it stock. Bored it out a little higher compression pistons and made it higher reving. I have a love for those bikes because of that and that’s why I plan on buying one this year 😂.

In my opinion, the H2 is the most beautiful motorcycle ever built.

It is interesting that the paint does not show its true nature on video. The H2 paint has a light reflecting green spec through it. The ferring and tank are a lot more appealing than people think.

Had a '73 H2.. crappy handling, scary Lock 'em Up style Brakes!.. Got me sliding face first off the road on a tight corner and lived to tell about it! The $3 plastic snap on face shield saved my grill! Wasn't married at the time so no widow maker on my part! Was Not that fast unless major port head and work, huge carbs and expansion chambers making it totally undriveable with a digital throttle. The Norton Commando blew me away.. But that early PennsoilQuaker State 2 cycle oil smelled just like a Lawn Boy!! Nobody liked to ride with me.. trips over 20 miles, and your hands were tingly and red from the paint shaker vibe at part throttle. sold it for more I paid for it.. lasted 6 hours on craigs list back in 79.. drag racers hunted them down. Here I am 69 y.o. got me aother 3 cyl.. a new XSR9!! now that's a BIKE!
