Behind every perfect game, is at least one amazing play in the outfield.

Fun fact: Jose Altuve has only struck out 3 times in a game TWICE in his entire career- this game, and last year against Zack Greinke

That throw from Arias was insane. Flat footed from the nearly the corner of the infield. Dude had a cannon of an arm

No matter what else Blanco does in his career, he has a MOMENT, that will live forever in Giants history.

Cain: Throws perfect game.
Giants Batters: We think he needs run support this time.

6:10 even though I've watched highlights of this game a million times, that hesitation and stumble from Arias still gives me a heart attack haha.

Pure art by Cain. Unbelievable.

I remember Blanco had no earthly reason to be that Center of Right Field, but he was, and it worked out perfectly.
Probably my favorite no-hitter/perfect game saving catch ever.

Also, Nicole Vogelsong looks more happy than Cain's wife lol. I love her, she still shows The Giants love.

Man this is just one of many amazing moments from the greatest era of Giants baseball. It’s 2020 as I’m writing this, and looking back I cannot believe how spoiled us Giants fans were during 2010-2014.

I was at this game. I did not expect to witness history. Glad to be apart of it!

Matt Cain is so humble, giving credit to the team both defensively and offensively. Imagine witnessing this live, man, I’m emotional.

Going back and watching this, I'm realizing some of the defensive plays that were all made were insanely difficult. Outs 6, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, and, of course, 27 were far from routine. Really a testament to how good the Giants' defense was and had to be that night.

We were in town for the US Open at Olympic and were offered tickets to this game. Luckily we said yes. Truly one of the greatest sporting events I have ever attended, right up there with being at a World Series clinching game!

I had the TV off this night because I needed to study. But then I saw the box score through 3 innings that Cain hadn't given up a hit. I felt it could happen right then. Cain had come so close earlier in the season against the Pirates - only the PITCHER had a hit off of him. I watched from the 4th onward, and ended up not studying the rest of the night.

I love it. First thing he says. "Wow" I also love that he gives Posey a ton of credit for the game he called and caught. People sometimes forget it takes a catcher to even pitch. And every single perfect game, every single time a pitcher gets 27 BIG LEAGUE batters down without a single hit or walk given or allowed, every single time it is amazing and singularly special. It's rare and it's just a truly difficult thing to pull off. A beautiful game. A perfect game.
Really no such thing as perfection. In major league baseball.... there is. But it is not something simply done. I love that.
