Im a certified installer through SystemX and I don’t see many reviews like this that are honest, it is a great and easy product but I haven’t seen longterm how it lasts yet. Would love to see more videos and reviews as well as how to guide the client to best preserving their coating.

You don’t need a polished surface to apply a coating. You need a CLEAN surface.

Polishing definitely helps compliment the coating’s properties though.

I know old video, but as he said in it garage kept is key for a lasting coating. I put Gtechniq EXO on our 2020 explorer a week after purchase and it is still holding strong 2.5 years later. For being a coating that is 18-24 months only that proves to me what garage keeping does.

Great video! Interesting this is a pro level coating with claimed durability of 8 years. With that in mind I'd hope the areas that are flat are able to be revived. This vehicle has been kept garaged on a daily basis and so unless you had a garage queen these are the best conditions you'd hope for coating durability. If these flat areas can't be revived, I'd want my money back! I'm sure someone applying a coating with an 8yr durability claim and being "Top shelf" would be charging a premium?
