You'd pay any amount for a man who's this honest and passionate about his trade. Thank you, I learned a lot.

Economist here. This was outstanding. Thank you.

One of the fundamentals of economics is there are no ideal solutions, only trade-offs, and this video illustrates that so well I'm going to use it in my class.

Once again, you had saved me months of research and Hrs of backbreaking mistakes and reduce in one 30 minute video. Thank you so much you’re the best.

I think the most important is to "just get some product on the car and keep putting it on" 😊
Too many people just aren't willing to bother. 😢

Pan, the ultimate test… seal a panel with graphing coating. Lay it under a tree. Put a bird feeder in the tree. Fill feeder with berries, (red) & wait! Then we may all see if berry acid will eat the coating into the paint. I had my truck in’95 sealed with auto armor sealant. A month later parked it under a tree . At apartment complex. Next day came out and saw bird droppings on hood . Washed it and ate into the bare metal. Less then 24 hours. Yes they warranty my hood! But this Test would top all your friends channels!

Pan; I have found you, Yvan Lacroix, Brian Spitler and Jon Delieu to be the best, with your knowledge and experience and willingness to impart it to others in the care of cars. What you do is much appreciated.

Great explanation of the differences between products. For my 15 year old bright red Mazda Miata I used a carnauba product for years but got tired of the application process. Switched to a spray ceramic (Griot's) last year and couldn't be happier. Looks great, easy to apply and refresh.

CRIKEY! I don't think I have ever seen a 32 minute video with this much helpful knowledge and information packed into it. In a world of ten minute videos which are nine minutes of boring filler, here is THIRTY TWO STRAIGHT MINUTES OF SCHOOL. Thanks, dude!!

@pantheorganizer thank you so much for all you do. My late father won so many show quality paint awards on his builds and I've learned literal years worth of advancements in this craft from you in such a short amount of time. You are a beast. Much respect and love from Florida my friend!!

Pan, you are an undeniable benefit to all in the detail world. Especially for a beginner like me. I mean no offense to other channels but in comparison with other channels your presentations are concise, educational and professional.
Personally, I have picked up on your attention to accurate information from product description to simply talking about models of a car or personal items. For me it creates trust in what I learn about this new endeavor for me.
I sincerely thank you for your dedication to these YouTube productions.

Pan I can’t tell ya how grateful I am that I found your channel. I used to manage/bartend and help run a bar for many years since the doors opened. Gave so much of myself and my life being dedicated to making this place a successful business and that ended up coming to fruition. I was bringing in more money than many folks who spend tons of money on their degree. Then in March 2020 we all know what happened. The world shutdown and I won’t give you the whole awful story but I was basically forgotten about and left hanging high and dry when they reopened. My wife and I have three young kids and 3 months prior to the shutdown we were finally able to find a house in a good neighborhood with very good schools. Things were looking up. So three months after finally having a mortgage to pay I basically lost everything in the span of a few months no knowing my job wasn’t waiting for me. After a lot of thought and soul searching I decided that I will never work for someone that isn’t me ever again. I’ve always had a talent for cleanliness and organization going back as long as I can remember. I have been working with my uncle’s commercial cleaning business part time for some extra cash for over 15 years now so I knew that wasn’t the direction for me. So I decided to start my own mobile detailing business. Been going at it for about a year now and things have not been easy but that has a lot to do with my financial issues and not the quality of work I’ve been doing when there is work for me. I have just been winging it with little to no experience running my own business and I just wanted to tell you that without your channel I may have given up on this journey pretty quick. However the knowledge and wisdom you pass along has taken me far and keeps me confident in what I’m doing. I’m good at this and I can say that without even having as many cool toys and equipment that I would like to. I’ll get there someday soon and I’ll know exactly what to do when I do and that’s all thanks to you. One thing I really dig about seeing your setup is the over the top organization. I have been treating everything I do and everything I own the same way my whole life. I even showed some of this to my wife so I could say see I’m not crazy 😂. I wish you were located closer to Philadelphia cause I’d love to get the chance to sit down and pick your brain about many detailing topics. Anyway I’ve been meaning to comment this to you on a video for quite awhile. Sorry it was so long and hopefully you come across it sometime. Pan. Thank you so much for everything you have provided me with. Keep up the amazing work sir and I hope you are doing well.

I just ordered a new vehicle, and dealer tried to sell me on ceramic protection add-on for the interior leather and exterior paint...all for $899. Took a pass on that. This video will be a great help in helping me to decide which way to go.

Great video. So I have a question. I often put layers on my car but it makes it hard to figure out how long it should last and when to re-apply. So, I understand that the top coat will determine sleekness, hydrophobic-ness, etc. but how does longevity work with layers and should I be layering? For example, say I put ceramic coating on, then over that I put on a butter wet wax for deep wet shine, then over that I use a spray on detailer like TW graphene or P&S Beadmaker. How long should I expect this to last? Do the top layers protect the bottom layer of ceramic coating? Do they wear off layer at a time or does it not work this way? Should I not be putting layers of other products over my ceramic? (maybe it defeats the purpose of the ceramic coating?) Thank you and I appreciate all the great videos you provide...Very helpful.

PhD Chemist here.

No matter what products you apply, you'll have different responses per /vehicle/ *and* maker because many automakers have different formulas of solventborne clearcoat, and some brands, ie: Car maker X use/used to have different formulations of clearcoat depending on the vehicle model *and* color (7 series, blue, for example).

Additional, *some* Makes/Models have poor chemical resistance on clearcoats, so bonding of high % of Si02/Ti02 will last a bit longer. (However, this was a few years back when were investigating the use of organic lipids as a stabilizing agent for a anti-UV coating, so it may not apply)

Side note, out of all the materials, Ti02 (Titanium dioxide) is probably the best bet for any kind of automotive coatings - In my opinion - from doing materials engineering.
