I’ve seen and heard dozens of people sing Proud Mary over the years. No one, and I mean no one, has come as close to Tina as Evvie did here. That includes Beyoncé’s tribute to Tina at the Kennedy Center. Way too clean of a voice. Evvie got down and dirty and that’s how you sing a rock song like this. She put her soul into it and it showed. What an awesome performance.
