Switching up the Camp Set Up - Coleman 6-Person cabin Tent & Cots

There's been a "want" to switch up our camp set up, so after much research on the many different tents and cots, we finally made a decision and purchased the Coleman 6-man cabin tent that sets up in 60 seconds, along with a couple of Coleman cots. With much excitement, this is the unboxing and set up of said items.

We bought a new blackout tent last year. Really like it. Stays DARK inside even with full sunlight. I've been contemplating cots for a while. We don't have a blanket stealing issue, because we use bags, but with Em's air mattress, there just isn't much room, and as John stated, it's a bit of a pain for us "full figured" gentlemen to get dressed.😂😂😂😂😂 Digging that light/fan combo!! Good stuff, y'all!!🤘🏻

You guys are getting old going with cots and a giant tent, which is okay. Your bodies will thank you.
At 70 our definition of roughing it is is a motel/hotel without a king size bed and a jacuzzi. LOL

Wow - trying out new equipment before you wheel it to a remote location - what a concept 👍 That big tent will be great for windy or rainy camp sites as you could set up a table and chairs inside☔

Very cool! I like your new set up. One thing you guys might want to add are cot pads. A bunch of different varieties out there depending on size/space available to carry them in your rigs. They just make your cot even more plush!

I've been using the Gazelle 4 person insta tent and a Red Camp cot for the past couple of years. The Coleman cots look like they are much wider. I think the Red Camp cot is 30".
