Eurorack Demo: A look at the 4ms Tapographic Delay

The Tapographic Delay is a eurorack module made by 4MS. In this video we take a quick look and listen to the 4MS tapographic delay being fed audio from the Make Noise Mysteron. I try not to get to technical about anything so all audiences can enjoy this video.

In this eurorack demo we look at the different features of the tapographic delay and I explain briefly what a tap is. A delay tap doesn't have anything to do with tapping, except when it comes to the tapographic delay. You use a touch sensitive pad to tap in your taps, the pad also takes the velocity or strength of your tap and can apply that to either a resonant BP filter, vca or a LP filter. A delay tap is essentially a tap in the delay line. WIth the topographical delay the last tap yuo enter is essentially the total length of the delay set and every tap before that acts as a tap fort he audio to come out. so if I tap the sensor with a feshly cleared tapography, at 5 seconds and 10 seconds I will hear the audio coming in 5 seconds delayed and 10 seconds delayed. This is a really nice eurorack delay and if your looking for delays I'd definitely say you should look at this one.

thanks everyone for watching!

I really appreciate every bit of support I get

nice work. I think it is THE delay for an experimental rig and since I want to work live it will provide far more interaction than the 4MS DLD.
