Mikey, good video. I’ve been also doing this for the past few years. I find that rubbing alcohol works better than WD-40 in removing grease and grime. I also do several rounds. I then follow up with adding silicone to the blades (thoroughly, in each grove). Then put a fresh coat of Rain X (not sure if you have that in Australia) and my (old) wipers have been performing like new. If you want to go one extra step, once a year I polish out the windshield (we call it a windshield in the states, ha) before applying Rain X. Makes a big difference.
