Order of Operations (PEMDAS) - Explanation and Examples

This video explains how to use order of operations (PEMDAS). Order of Operations tells us the order that operations need to be done when simplifying an expression (parenthesis, exponents, multiplication/division, addition/subtraction). Its important to remember that although the M comes before the D and the A comes before the S in the acronym, that multiplication and division are at the same level and addition and subtraction are at the same level. In these cases where you have multiplication and division, or addition and subtraction, you would work left to right.
