Most crucial part of an acc for me has been chipping away at diaries. I never bothered with qpc in 07 and only started taking the main account grind 'seriously' since 2018. I doubled down my semi casual efforts during covid playing and it has made me enjoy the game so much more.

Achievement/Combat diares are the best indicators of progression.

It's a long road, but we're spoiled for choice when it comes to content in osrs. Ty again for the guide. Currently tackling hard combat and elite achievement diaries.

FYI, you do not need holiday tracks to unlock the music cape, only the trimmed variation. No need to wait a full year for a holiday event if you're close to the music cape!

I'd say the most important thing for a new account is set yourself small, realistic goals after playing the game for a couple weeks and figuring out what you like about it. That way you can know where to set your goals, and setting smaller ones as opposed to say playing for 2 weeks and setting a goal of infernal cape you'll be able to complete your goals and feel that sense of accomplishment rather than burning out on the unrealistic goal. Then you can even set yourself new goals sooner, and work towards those to get that dopamine rush again.

As an Ironman I got the Quest cape last week and can say that better gear is very ideal. You need to spend a lot of time learning PVM bosses for the quests and you'll feel at times it's jsut not possible. Desert Treasures 2 is a nightmare and who knows how hard While Guthix Sleeps will be soon.

Questing has to be the most important part of any account. It unlocks so much content whether its new map areas, equipment, abilities, perks, teleports, PLUS it forces you to have goals for levels in skills that maybe you wouldn't normally train. RSN Capt Falco

Great Video. I just got Quest Cape back after doing Desert Treasure 2 so I've been a little lost on what to do next. I've been AFKing Barbarian Fishing (lvl81) on weekdays and doing Fortis Colosseum (can only do the first 2 waves the majority of the time) so I'm sort of doing a mix between PVM and skill route

Its important to have a goal to grind too.
Im notifing myself doing hard pvm challenges that i used to watch other people do on YouTube, now im the one doing it! And its going so well that i dont even remember doing the bossfights almost or how i managed it

The most important part of an account is getting your quest cape as it literally unlocks all areas of the game and brings your account up to a decent level. Not to mention the amount of new, more efficient skiling methods, and pvm moneymakers it unlocks (vorkath, dt2 bosses, phantom muspah, prifdinnas, chinning caves, etc.).

i think what helped me the most when starting was to get agility and and a decent construcktion. Those sortcuts saves a lot of time and the poh can help tele you almost everywhere.
