ONLY WATER - Acrylic Pour Painting for Small Budgets - Step by Step

For my current acrylic pouring I only use water and acrylic paints - no pouring medium or other additives! Together with just four colors, a fascinating work of art is created. You want to try the acrylic pour painting yourself, but don't want to spend a lot of money - then this idea is just right for you!

I used four beautiful acrylic paints from Royal Talens Amsterdam:

Titanium white
Oxide black
Green Blue
Azo yellow deep

In addition a canvas 40 x 40 cm or 15.74 x 15.74 inches.

My color recipe is very simple - two parts water to three parts paint.

For the bright colors it was 40g water (1.41oz) and 60g paint (2.11oz)
I needed a little more for the white - I used 80g (2.82oz) water and 120g (4.23oz) paint

But now have fun with the pouring video and if you haven't already done so, I look forward to a subscription or a nice comment.

Creative greetings

Never seen a pour like this. The finish was stunning. It looked like the stormy ocean and sky competing as the sun was trying to come out. Coolest painting i have ever seen

Thank you so much! I just got my supplies for my birthday, but none of my pours came out very well. However, with your tutorial, I got my very first gorgeous pour on an 8"x8" canvas. I'm so happy after all my disappointments. I used Mont Marte paints with your ratios and the consistency was perfect! New subscriber here.

Cool for small budget !
This technique with only water gives the opportunity to those who can't spend much money to practice pouring art, and I think it's pretty great.
It remembered me when I was a young and broke student, using white acrylic paint for buildings as a base and colored it with bad pigments.
It made me feel like trying, even if I can afford specific stuff now, and I was a little bit disappointed by the result. Indeed, the colors are dull and I can see some small cracks on the paint after drying. These inconveniences never happen when I use a real medium... Maybe didn't I do the mixing right ?

This is actually what I was looking for. I don't want cells on my painting. I just don't like the look of it. Thank you for this video.
