I dont think NK truly understands what shock and awe truly means when they are on the bad end of that sick. As a Gulf War 1 vet I've seen it, and it is an awesome sight to behold. Not only if it meant to destroy personnel and equipment, it's designed to make those who witness it and survive extremely fearful of what can happen on the next engagement. Even if you are a retreating army, you are going to experience devastation, the likes if which have never been seen. It seems unfair, but is meant to demoralize, so that the enemy will think twice before attempting to engage US and partner forces.

This is what is called a CALFAX if I remember correctly. Combined live fire exercise. If you have never been to one and you have a military base close to you that has these weapon systems you should contact public affairs office and see if one will be held in the future. It will be well worth your time it will give you an idea of the amount of power that could be brought to bear on a very small scale. But imagine a battalion or brigade level, which is several times the size and it is still relatively a small unit in size.
