Believe me ielts speaking score is depended on the examiner not more on your speaking .i spoke very well but got 6.5

I have a question
Is joking with the examiner alright? I was thinking about maybe making a little joke with the examiner while taking the speaking test, but I'm not sure if that thing is considered to be "illegal" or something like that. if it wasn't illegal, does it have some sort of a positive effect to my overall grade or it does not?
