Idk I have a jade planted directly in a pot that doesn't have drainage so was wondering if putting something down to the bottom of the soil would be helpful to dry it out as much as watering the higher levels of dirt.

The top you placed in the bottom of the container, is the top smaller then the actual inside bottom? How is the wick getting the water if the plant is sitting on the top inside the planter
