Sifu is INCREDIBLE....but Know What You're Getting Into

Sifu from Sloclap was one of my most anticipated games of 2022, and after having finishing it's been a big surprise in many ways. Here are my thoughts.

I was going into this game with low expectations but this game soared over them. Everything from the music to the layered combat to the visuals are very extremely polished for a $40 game. The game also provides a good challenge even after mastering gameplay.

Not to mention the call backs to many martial arts movies. It’s debatable to say wether this game shouldn’t be a GOTY contender. If your on the fence I recommend you pick up this game.👊

I absolutely love Sifu. It's about aquiring skills that take a life time, over the corse of a few hours. Its hard because mastering an Art is punishing. I feel like people thought we were going to get a Bruce Lee Simulator. Badass, power fantasy, breezing through rooms of thugs in an instant. Instead we got a Jackie Chan Simulator. Constantly on your back foot, scrambling for objects and using your surroundings to your advantage. We aren't use to games making us work for our Power Fantasy.

100% loved this type of of review, made me very interested to play. Loved the idea of seeing as almost like a rogue like with the replaying the levels. I’ve got a massive backlog (who hasn’t) so not rushing to buy it but will grab it when it goes on sale.

I love this game! I just replay my favorite levels over and over and over. The game can be tough but once you get it down then you feel even more like a bad ass/ip man lol. Well done game in my opinion. Perfect 10 in my book

This looks like a great successor to their last game Absolver. It was a game that had me hooked for a long time so I know for sure this game will have the same affect on me

Damn, I'm also waiting for the physical release, but the more I watch and read about Sifu, the more I'm leaning toward getting digital as well.

With my back catalog of games (still have to get through God of War, Horizon and also Elden on PC ) I'll wait and see if this becomes a Gamepass game when it is released on Xbox in the year and make my Xbox One useful. Building a PC has ruined me for consoles. Not master race or anything but damn do you get better deals and free games on PC that you can keep forever.
