This is the April Fools snapshot 20w14infinity, where you can throw a book n' quill with randomly written text into the Nether portal and the portal will change color and lead you to a completely random dimension. And if there is a certain special text in the book, the portal will lead to one of the Easter Egg dimensions. Examples:

Throwing a book with the written text "credits" into the portal will lead you to a dimension with only the staff credits, written in netherite blocks.
Throwing a book with the written text "nothing" into the portal will lead you to a dimension with nothing at all, except for something at coords (502640, 99, 1482448).
Throwing a book with the written text "red", "blue", or "green" into the portal will lead you to Overworld, except it is red, blue or green.
