Imagine if someone invaded the U.S. and was doing this to us.
It's easy to lose perspective, to forget that the "enemy" is always human.
It's not hard to see why the Taliban was able to reclaim the country.

I spent 4 years working mostly at Bagram (2008 to 2012) as a contractor. The U.S. built a city there. I hardly ever felt in danger due to the level of security surrounding the base. I worked with people from all around the world. It is an experience I will never forget.
