Barigo Weather Station (Barometer/Thermometer/Hygrometer)

I saw this years ago in a Hammacher Schlemmer catalog and it screamed "Jay" so I had to get it. Apparently it's a pretty high quality, precision device. It shows, in an ANALOG format, the temperature, atmospheric pressure, and humidity.

If required, all three measurement devices in this weather station can be seperately adjusted (re-calibrated) to read correctly (to match other instruments) using a fairly small flat bladed 3" screwdriver. From the underside the hydrometer can be adjusted via the hole in the centre of the base, whilst the hydrometer is adjusted via the off-centre screw also in the base. The thermometer can be adjusted by first removing the dome, using the screwdriver to gently lever the 6 plastic fingers in-turn whilst applying a pulling force on the dome. Then slide the blade of the screwdriver carefully into the gap between the hydrometer and thermometer dials and gently tap the small flat plate (with a slot) that connects to the bi-metallic strip to the left or right until the pointer reads corretly.

I got one of the same barometer and had it for over 24 years. its very very good over the years

They are made bij Barigo in Germany i have 2 of them bought from Catawiki auctions.for around 80+€ each
