I'm glad to see the swamp ash sepcial resurface in this format, It definitely felt like the right time for it to come back around. I used to see the original core model version in the early 2000's and loved the idea, but could never afford one.

Looks great. Sounds even better. Frankly, it's warmer, richer tone than a Stratand with the same tone woods), which means PRS is getting really good at pickups. Of course, their choice of demo player doesn't exactly hurt. Tasteful. Soulful. Great demo.

I’m still working on learning acoustic (play a Taylor 414ce) but haven’t been playing that long. Have to keep working on my skills yet before I’ll feel it’s ok to purchase another guitar. But I think when I do, this might be the one. Going to go in and play one at some point. Never played an electric, really. I like the variety of tonal capabilities it has and I keep hearing that PRS guitars are excellent to play.
