I’m proud to be able to say I saw her and Jefferson Airplane sing once in Fresno, California…June, 1967. I was 16. It really was momentous. White Rabbit always stands out, but “Somebody to Love” still makes me soar!

When you see her on the stage of Woodstock singing White Rabbit she is as a whole a personification of the times.
Just like Jimi and so many others icons of the times. Absolutly stunning.

I’m 71 years old and have always thought Grace Slick to be way under-rated.She doesn’t get the respect she deserves.

Grace is without a doubt the first lady of rock and in my opinion her voice is unmatched. So powerful, There will never be another Grace.

8 AM, Sunday Morning, August 17, 1969, the sun was coming up in Bethel Woods at the Woodstock Festival. I was 16 and had made my way down fairly close to the front to see Jefferson Airplane hit the stage. A great memory that I will never forget.

I met Grace in Newport Beach, California at one of her art shows. I bought a "White Rabbit" painting which she signed. Grace is a very gracious woman and spent several minutes talking with me about her art.

Grace defined "do your own thing", independence and anti-convention. She spoke her mind, poked the establishment in the eye and never looked back.

How in the world did you ignore her presence at WOOD STOCK? Their performance was transcendental in harmony with one of the most amazingly powerful meaningful peaceful and memorable events in our known history. How could you have ignored it?

Simply put, Grace Slick is the definitive voice of the 60’s. No one will ever match her tone and intensity. She’s an American music icon.

She's one of my all-time favorite singers. "White Rabbit" & "Somebody To Love" are still my favorites.

Since I was a young boy, I have always been smitten with how beautiful Grace was and how lovely her voice was.
Of course now, she doesn't look like she did in the '60's, '70's, and '80's.
But back then, she was absolutely stunning! And nobody but Ann Wilson could match the power and richness of her voice.
I still listen to Jefferson Airplane regularly as the songs have aged well and never get boring.

Heck I’m 69, and I’ve still got a crush on Grace. Definitely a person who started the psychedelic rock phase of Rock & Roll. She always had a beautiful voice. I’m glad to see she’s enjoying her art and appears to be doing fine. Peace to you Grace ❤

The intro to White Rabbit is still one of the most iconic in rock history. One of my favorites from the era.

I was so in love with Grace… she had such mesmerizing eyes, and a great voice very distinctive. I’m 73 now and remember the 60s like it was yesterday. Such an amazing time and lots of changes came about.
