In this video we take a look at software update for Unifi site manage and Unifi protect. That update is Unifi Vantage point. Vantage Point combines multiple NVRs together, independent of their physical location, for a consolidated UniFi Protect management experience.

Fantastic! When I saw this the other day myself I was blown away. It was party time but then got disappointed that it was not part of the viewpoint. So I would love to have this as I do have dedicated televisions to watch the cameras on constantly. Being able to watch vantage point specific cameras on a monitor using the viewpoint would be life-changing 🎉

Vantage point is off to a great start. But I'm with you...I hope they have more features planned like the ones you mentioned.

Slick, but I'd like to see microSD card slots for redundant storage like others offer. ReoLink's software allows this with their cameras. I'm not sure if there's a camera limitation or not. I haven't intentionally tried to exceed it if it does exist, but this is still huge news for protect! I'll be able to use at a couple multi sites.

When you playback a video of say your brothers driveway, is that streaming while you watch or does it copy it to your local storage and then play?

This isn't a feature I'd have any use for, but I think the implementation is Very Cool.

This is a start and they need to expand it because of businesses that have more than 3 locations. The biggest con of Vantage Point is that no matter how you setup the grid, everything is combined.
