8:55 Listen to this.... my jaw dropped when I heard this. The current battlepass reward vehicle had been sitting in the game files since 2018. It's currently halfway through 2024... This just further proves how lazy this most recent battlepass was.

My least favorite event vehicle is either the IKV 73 or the LVT (A) (4). The turret traverse of the LVT is very annoying. IKV 73 is just very unoriginal for an event vehicle

The problem with the orvel is the same as for the HSTVL namely that Gaijin uses the same damage model for all APFSDS between 25 and 76mm. Therefore, these guns have pretty terrible damage. If Gaijin adds a damage model for their kind of calibre it would be problem solved but until then...

According to Hunnicutt the LVT(A)(4) actualy had a stabilisor in real life.

While the M8 Scott, from which the turret originates, was used as a self propelles atillery vehicle the LVT(A)(4) was modifyed by the Marines specificaly for direct combat in naval landings. Therefore they installed a westinghouse gyrostabilisor to the gun.

I was prepared to argue when the 75 mm LVT came up, but you're right. I like it conceptually, but I tried playing it again recently and it's just useless.

Small note about the Rolls-Royce 40 mm cannon: The experimental Beaufighter is the only time it appears on an aircraft, but it's also in game as a naval gun on the stern of the MGB-61.

hey mate, are you ok ? I sincerely hope you're doing alright, and that you are still planning on making videos for this channel. You're doing a great job and you will be missed if you stop. In fact, I already miss you haha..

Ah yes, a Filipino P-26 Peashooter. Yes, we did have the things in WW2 and they were used extensively by Philippine Army Air Corps pilots against the Japanese during their invasion of the Philippines. Chief among them was then-Captain Jesus Villamor whose name is pretty much the stuff of legend in Philippine military aviation. The Philippine Air Force's main air base is named after him: Villamor Air Base and has received the Distinguished Service Cross twice, being the only Filipino to do so.

6:40 Or flying at night, very high up, and not being detected by enemy defences, meaning you don't need as many defensive weapons and crew to man them so you can carry more bombs. See British bomber tactics in WW2
18:31 The Bucc S.1 was a very good aircraft, so good that I bought a talisman for it. You could typically strike bases and then run away before most enemies were up in the air, making it amazing for RP grinding. However they then removed its airspawn, making it usless in airrb

I honestly think gift vehicles have killed “foldered” vehicles. None are hardly ever added, and those are optional, but accessible vehicles. Something like the American T29E3 heavy tank could be a folder to the T34.

My note on the Beaufighter is that with the two different AP rounds, it's common that each round will hit a tank in two different spots and knock out a psace out crew or engine much easier than two shells in one spot. Just my view of the armament.

I’ve used the Buccaneer S.1 as a heavy grinder and I love it, kinda sad to see it on this list but I respect the opinion

The buccaneer S.1 used to be extremely effective at grinding bases before they removed the air spawn. It really should be rank V, which would fix the issue and make it useful again.

I only just stumbled upon this video now, i hope that your doing better now. I totaly understand the longterm affects, my sense of smell has almost completely left me after getting covid 2 years ago. I can only smell some things aslong as the smell is strong enough

A plus for #4 is... It's a German Half-track!!! The ubiquitous German Half-track that is always seen in War reels, movies ETC:! Anyway or by any means to get those in the game is well worth it in my opinion!!!

That guy that said "Schräge Musik" needs some german lessons man, that pronounciation is so off.

Next Nation Ground Forces Guide when?
No seriously though, I love that series to bits and I cant wait for a continuation.
No matter if there have been new Vehicles added in the meantime, but it is just so very helpful to get a general gist of how a Nation plays and aside from that it is massively entertaining.
(also kinda really hoping you do France next lol)
In any case, brilliant video as always Oxy, keep up the great work and thanks for your time and effort!

the number 1 looks actually really good. You forget to mention that the .50 cal can easily deal with lighter vehicles that try to get around you while the turret slowly turns to try and shoot them, either the .50 cal can disable their ability to move, or flat out destroy them. The LVT hull also is extremely spacious and thus makes it harder to kill than the normal M8 HMC. The hull also being fairly agile can help guide the turret towards the enemy with its traverse speed.

I personally don't own it, but that's how I would play it because I have a lot of fun with the M8 HMC, and this is just an M8 HMC with a bigger hull.
