Live and Learn is a super important song for me. It defined along with Sonic Adventure 2 an important part of my early adolescence and I knew as I started making video game covers that one day I'd have to tackle it. Naturally, all I'd need is a singer who could both match the feeling and energy of the original, yet also help me put a twist on it. Easier said then done.

Then I met Jon. I'm pretty sure once I heard him sing I was like, "Holy hell it would be sick to get him on a cover of Live and Learn." And only after doing numerous covers, projects and literally living with him for two years, I'm very proud to bring you our cover of it! A lot of heart went into it and I tried to go above and beyond with the arrangement to make it more modern. I toned my leads back and really focused on a technical rhythm. Hope you guys dig it.

Do not film videos in the middle of the road. You will get hit by a car. We almost did. It's not worth it.

You guys absolutely killed it! I love Jon's charisma and enthusiasm when he sings. He goes above and beyond to add extra things that personalize the vocals and helps make it more his own! And I loved how the video looked! Jules it always amazes me how fast you can shred and really make these songs your own, especially working vocalists. it's hard to balance what you want and the vocalists' abilities, but you do it so well! :)

This is a really diverse arrangement, and I love how it's book-ended by these almost introspective moments at 0:18 and 4:12. That bass + piano combination is killer, not to mention the Jon + Jules combo itself. I give it 12/10 flops.
