The next step of this test, if anyone cares, is to confirm that your Coombs reagent still works by adding "check cells". These should agglutinate because they're coated in antibodies. Agglutination proves that you didn't get a false negative due to a faulty reagent.

Many of the tests that at least my lab performs are done on plasma - the samples come in EDTA tubes which don't allow blood to clot (if they're mixed properly).

First of all, may G-d bless you for all the work you're doing, this channel is nothing short of amazing! Second, regarding this test, I can see how it can be good for screening before pregnancy (we wanna make sure that an Rh negative mother was never exposed to Rh antigen so that she never produced anti Rh IgG). But uaing this test for pre transfusion screening, we may end up giving an Rh - patient (who was never yet exposed to Rh positive blood so he never produced the anti Rh IgG and hence the test will show no agglutination) Rh postive blood - which is not dangerous for the first time (I think but correct me if im wrong) but seems to be a shame to have the recepient produce anti Rh IgG?

Gynaecologist suggested ICT test in first visit & Titre test is Positive 1:64 (7 week pregnancy)

Can you please guide us to continue with this pregnancy or not ?

salam ....on dit qu'on donne pas un antigène a patients qui possède l anticorps correspondant dans les règle des transfusion du système ABO ..mais les anticorps du patient sont de nature IgM normalement ils provoque l hémolyse en 4° mais celle du corps est de 37° !!! ...je n ai pas compris pourquoi ils y aurait un hémolyse ??...je souhaite q vous avez compris ma question et vous me la repondre je compte sur vous doc

Hi Sir, Happy for video. please help me with query. wife is 0-ve, Husband is A+ve. in 2016 year during 2nd month abortion happend through tablets as no heart beat to baby and taken Anti-D 300mcg injection in 24hrs.After long struggle, now in March 2020 am pregnant and taken only Anti-D 150mcg in 26th week. Indirect Coomb Test was negative during 3rd month. please advise is Anti-D 150mcg enough? also any chance to have -ve blood group baby for safe side.
