Y'all I am so excited to do my first PSMF today! I am pushing my eating window off towards the close of the day.... I do have 100 pounds to lose and I am currently doing Carnivore since June 3rd, 2024. I also started back to weight lifting 3 times a week. Thanks for all you do!

I was Carnivore for 6 months and only lost 2 pounds following the eat -fatty meat and butter and only count carbs crowd’s advice. I switched to your PSMF plan a few weeks ago and I have lost 8 pounds. I’m a 5’1” 77 year old woman. I needed to lose 20 pounds. I started at 136 pounds. I downloaded Cronometer and I now track everything I put in my mouth. What I discovered immediately was how much I was eating before I started your plan. It was easily twice as much as I’m eating now. And yet I am more satisfied and my food tastes better than it did when I was stuffing my face with high fat meats and butter. However I have tweaked your plan a bit as the weeks have passed. I found it nearly impossible to hit my macros without dairy, so dairy is in except I don’t use butter and I cut my cream down to a teaspoon from a tablespoon as that’s really all I need to cut my coffee’s acidity and guess what? I can actually taste my delicious French roast and not just cream. I drink decaf, but I have ADHD and I need some caffeine midday. I have a Pepsi Zero nearly every day. I also have a glass or two of wine once a week. My weight loss might have been faster without these tweaks but it wouldn’t have been sustainable. As things stand, I’m very happy and having no trouble at all eating this way.

PSMF has been around since at least the 70's. Many old school bodybuilders used this trick to get shredded for contests.

Oh! This was also written about by Dr. Maxwell Stillman in his original Quick Weight Loss Diet (1967). He helped many people reach a healthy weight by encouraging his patients to cut out fat and carbs and focusing on protein.

I just started intermittent fasting, 16/8. Down five pounds in 1 month! I have been keto 3 years now and stalled, so decided on fasting. I have never heard of this, will definitely give it a try. With studies I have read though, I didn't think we lost much muscle mass with water fasting.

Btw, Maria your smile is beautiful and you radiate positive energy.✨💫If you read my previous post you will see why it’s hard for me to lose and I really need to get as far under 200 as possible to take the strain off of my spine. My highest was nearly 370 lbs. in 2003 at only 5’ 5”. If this works I’ll be ecstatic. Eating high fat is just not allowing me to access my stored fat. I even do 24 hour total fasts (only 0 calorie beverages) a few times a month and still stuck.😕

Ive never heard of these different ways of eating I’m going to try these. Just need to print it out.
I’m struggling for some reason and fell off that wagon well and truly so much so I gained about 5 kgs in matter of 3 weeks.
I was doing well, did not see much result scale wise but body was changing slowly . I’m finding it hard for some reason to even remotely do a 18hr fast, few weeks ago i did a 93hr fat fast really easy which was my first extended fast. Since then downhill I’m so annoyed with myself now I’m eating to comfort myself. So been binge watching some of your videos today, and got your some of your books so hopefully this will kick me back to where i want to be.

I’m gearing up to do this. I’ve been on lowcarb/high fat and in the darkest keto reading on the urine strips since restarting on 5-3-20. I weighed in the 290’s 🥰in December and lost 30 pre keto, then another 30 since May 3rd and in July lost nothing. I’m 47, think I’m beginning the very start of menopause and I can only do light walking due to having degenerative disc disease, spinal stenosis, spinal cord compression and being inoperable due to an extremely rare blood clotting disorder. I’m bouncing in the 230’s now and sick of it. I’m researching all I can about PSMF. This is what my Mother and others called “The protein diet” back in the 70’s and 80’s. She’d lose weight eating cottage cheese, chicken, baked fish, tuna & green beans.☺️It worked like a charm.

You mention that this isn't something you do every day.  Will doing it just one day kick start your weight loss?  If not, what do you suggest?  ...and I do have your books, but your Keto book explaining the science is my major read these days.  It has given me a great understanding why a diabetic, 63 year old woman struggles with weight loss even though sugar is under control. Keep spreading the truth
