Hi Richard and thank you for the review. Are you sure the drive RPM is 7200? Some state is 5900 rpm. Also, you can try to install the latest USB 3.0 drivers for your chipset. It might solve the the transfer speed problems. If you do, can you retest please? Thank you!

I have the same Model, But I don't have any problem with the write speeds and I get almost 120MB/Sec WRITE SPEED...There might be something wrong with the USB 3.0 Drivers on your end...
