Well, with the new 2025 kink BMX bikes, there are quite a few changes. In this video I breakdown all of those changes and talk about what's different in 2025 versus 2024 and 2023. Surprisingly King did make some changes to the actual line the prices are a little bit different and obviously the colors. Usually when a new line comes out it's just changes with colors, but this line has all new models and the discontinuation of old models.

Dougster, , I wanted to personally reach out to you and say thank you so much for the insight, knowledge, and love for bmx. and I am grateful to you for your recommendation  to most suited bikes for everyone based on their needs and value.  i  ended up with the Sunday Ex. It is a beautiful piece with the freecoaster.  I'm 40 years old and haven't rode for 20 years due to the pressure of adulthood.  But I have longed to ride again in my heart.  it was my son who inspired me by asking if I would ride with him so I was justified to do so with pure happiness.  i thank him for giving me my second chance and you sir for steering me in what to look for.     God speed sir, and may bmx  never die.

none of the kink completes come with aftermarket parts be weary, they say Williams 4 pc bars and other Williams parts but their knock off heavier/weaker versions even the cinema tires a cheaper compound than what's available on the aftermarket side

I wish this sport was more popular in Brazil, not to mention the absurd costs charged for the bike. I'm going to buy a pro-x series 20, and I don't know if it's good for starting out in the sport.

So I found a bike with all chrome alloy and double walled rims for $299 but it’s a 24” bike? I can find any 20 or 22” in that price range. Would I be making a mistake getting a 24” as an adult who is 5’10” 180lbs?

Hey man it's been a while, I hope everything's been well for you. What's your opinion on the mankind liberated? I was scrolling through sourcebmx and came across it while it was on sale and I was honestly surprised by the quality that is listed about it. It sounds like a fancier kink whip with tires a little bit skinnier (2.3 compared to 2.4) but even then that's not a big deal. I was kind of caught off guard because it sounds like such a good quality bike for the same price as the whip yet I've never heard anything about it or the company behind it, so I decided to do some research and the last thing I've seen about the bike from mankind on youtube was about 4 years ago which made me take a step back and think again. I would love to hear what you have to say about it as I can't tell if it's old tech or if it keeps up with today's standards as what's listed about sounds literally like a fancy whip

That's a shame they dropped the Gap FC. It was a great way to get a freecoaster complete bike cheap to get into street riding. I didn't think standover height affects responsiveness, you feel strongly about that, Doug? I have a HUGE standover and it makes no difference to my spins. Whips it would obviously affect but that's nothing to do with frame response. Kink Williams complete now has 8-spline cranks. The fork also comes with a 30mm offset which I think is too much for that particular bike.
