Thank you so much, I listen to podcasts at about 3.5 speed, both to be able to listen to more and to practice getting better at transcription, but was always disappointed I couldn't listen to videos at that speed as well. This will help me get up to 4 times the speed.

totally just found out today YouTube has keyboard shortcuts, including shortcuts to speed-up and slow-down the video. To see all keyboard shortcuts just watch your video and hit Shift+?

speed up: Shift+>
slow down: Shift+<
others exist, like literally just typing f (hit 'f' on your keyboard) to toggle full-screen on/off

one of my friends introduced me to speeding videos, I started off at 1.4x and I now watch at 2.4x! I don't go past 2.5 because most videos get extremely fast, but I'm used to watching in 2.4 now.

I'm trying to limit my entertainment intake so automatically, whenever I play an entertainment video I want to speed it up - this allows me to get bored of entertainment faster and most of the time, I end up getting bored earlier and doing something else that is much more productive sooner.
