I'm only 23 and I can appreciate Sherbet in all their glory, whilst i've never met anyone else my age who knows of them

I worked with Alan Sandow in the early 2000’s. We had a poster of Sherbert bare chested in their hey day, hanging on the wall in the lunch room.

Cassandra was not a popular name when this was released, made me so happy something had my name... I was 9.

Such a shame that one of our icons has stumbled due to legal attacks but Daryl and Sherbet are always a much loved member of any Aussie music fan. Thanks for your talent and tenacity. However I think I ran over Daryl on a surfboard at North Bondi in 1982,

First comment!  Obviously all those young ladies in the audience have got on to other pursuits in life. And seriously, smoking is a health hazard. One of my favourite Sherbet songs, smooth, happy, nice melody, and  if I ever met Cassandra, I'm sure I'd be cast under her spell too.

40 years on … and Dazza still sounds the same !! But most of the chicks in the teenybopper audience are probably now grandmothers ….

The strings sound might be a Mellotron. We don't get a good look at it, but it sounds like it.
Check out the 'bouncers' of the day getting everyone to get off their seats all the way through.
