From the 1976 King Of Pop Awards, broadcast nationally on the 9 Network Australia, though Sherbet were in London at the time and performed from the studios of London Weekend Television, especially for the occasion. Introduced by Cliff Richard.

For some reason, this portion of the tape is of much lesser quality than the beginning, in both sound and vision, but I don’t know why. I was able to increase the volume around 6x anyway.

This was the band’s new single at the time, a re-recording of an earlier 1972 single.

I grew up listening this Great Aussie Band, and I gotta tell ya, there is something wrong about the audio. I think Daryl is laughing because he can hear the tape or record they are miming is on the wrong pitch/speed..Listen to a proper recording and you'll hear what I mean. Still nice to see the lads on that UK Pop Show. Our version was called COUNTDOWN.

More comedy gold! Luckily they righted the ship and became The Sherbs.
Sherbert kissing rings in London as punk explodes around them. They really were tone deaf....
How about that searing lead guitar solo...or the cricket vest on spunky Garth...or buffed Allan on skins, man? LOL!
