I still remember staying up all night collecting dark elixers just to buy the barbarian king and when i was able to buy it..oh boy let me tell you it was the most happiest day of my life.... You missed 1 big thing here. Troops / spells used to cost gold and elixir/ dark elixir to train them . Which costs a hell lot. And needed much much loot . But now, it doesnt take any. This is a huge huge change

I came back to this game just a week ago after 8 long years, took a while to recover my then near maxed th10, cuz at that time th10 was the maxed townhall. The most striking thing i noticed was that the troops dont take elixir or dark elixir to cook them. In our time trophy pushing was impossible since we often used to run out of elixir or dark elixir so couldnt train troops. We had to farm using Barch or goblins to train a single army but then u lose trophies. And now loots are overflowing. Its funny to see that Infernos and xbows still gets exhausted and stops working after a time in fact in our times we had to spend actual dark elixir to fuel the infernos and xbows.

It's been almost 7 years since the last time I played clash of clans and when I saw my classmates playing the game, I too wanted to play the game again and yeah, I've never felt like being under the rock before. The most surprising thing about me is that there's no longer global chat. I can still remember the global chats filled with people sending invites in the chat, different people from different countries talking with each other. Hell, even mocking with each other if ever they got themselves in a clan war.

Being an OG who isn't that active i didn't know many things which were later changed like Tesla no longer does double damage to PEKKA, but still its fun to remember good old days✌🏻

I started playing in 2012 but I was kinda young at the time and didn't fully understand the elements of the game. Been on and off the game over the last ten years and the biggest difference is how easy the games gotten, so much opportunity for loot and no/low costs eveywhere. Honestly miss the dark elixir grind, I was so good at tunneling for it

The ice wizards we'rent bad . They used to attack defences first . They were pretty handy at th 5, 6 and 7 . Not to forget th10 was max

Dude I remember the hardcore dark elixir grind, and I especially remember the double damage tesla, to the point I thought that was still a thing today, didn't realize they changed it

Started playing clash of clan when i just got into high-school (late 2013- beginning 2014 ish). I remember 90% of these features, also remembered how difficult it was to max out and go to the next TH. Returned fully 4 months ago, made a 2nd account and it's so easy now to go to the next TH.

Th's were all outside because it was giving 12 hour shield to defender but causes only 1000 loot loss so all townhalls were outside and attacker was getting %100 of its league bonus. Basically you deploy your heroes or couple of archers and you get 200k loot from league bonus and for trade of this, defender was getting 12 hour shield I think this was the best feature. I'm very sad that it removed...

As an old player I miss those days when training a troop of dragons took 20 hours...but now its nice that they take only 4 minutes or so...
