I walked inside while Dave was waiting for his pizza. I had no idea he was going to be there. I thought to myself as I walked past him to order, "who is this guy and wtf is he wearing." 😂 I didn't even look at his face until after I ordered. Looked over and it's actually El Presidente! Chatted for a few seconds and got a pic. Great lunch break.

Man it is depressing. This is my hometown. I used to work nextdoor to Paladino's. Dave said this strip mall is disgusting but he failed to mention that the pizzeria is the only business operating there. When I was growing up there 35-40 years ago we had 2 movie theaters, a 72 lane bowling alley, a pool, a roller rink- disco, a few ice cream parlors. The guy who wrote The Wonderful Wizard of Oz grew up here too and said the years he spent in Salina were the happiest years of his life. There was a yellow plank road running through town.
