Usually big chained grocery stores won't and can't thinly slice their beef this way because due to regulations they aren't allow to freeze their meat and thats the only way the meat can thinly be sliced. Then there's the little markets that does package thinly sliced meats but will charge an additional 2 to 3 dollars on top of the regular sales price per pound. Best thing to do is what this guys doing. Save more, get more.
