I've had the 261 for a few years finally upgraded to the 262 and passed the 261 down to my son-in-law.... I have absolutely no complaints about Ryobi

Thanks for the info. As of Jan. 5th 2023 they have the PCL265K1 on sale for $99. I think this model is newer than the p262. I might bite

I notice more kick/power with the ph batteries especially with 4ah or bigger

The only thing I don't like about ryobis batteries is in the wrong position for the impact ratchet making it tough for tight spaces
