I love how you say that the 2 veins in a single chunk are independent. They are not. The initial rng seed for the smaller vein is always the initial seed of the big one +1. That means their X and Z offset from eachother is nearly always the same.

I have encountered one of these veins on bedrock edition a long time ago, I did not save the seed though

one time me and 2 of my friends were playing together in pocket edition survival (1.16 or so), cheats enabled, and we found an 80 or so vein of ancient debri, i tried looking for it again in the same seed in solo survival and it wasnt there again.

How did you get the 8% figure? I multiplied your number by 2^64 and again by 30 million/16 and got around 0.00012%
