Food trend. 🤣 That's how we were meant to eat. Kids eat that way immediately. They eat when they are hungry and stop half way in when they're full.

I'm currently relearning that now. It's tough to break old habits of eating when you're emotional, sad, tired, when you want, etc.

I had always listened to my body and felt significant better for it. I naturally fast too, like I never forced myself to be restrictive I just knew if I’m hungry I’ll eat. So if I’m not hungry all day then I won’t eat all day. I used to go like 2 days every so often without eating and I never felt like week or in pain. But now.. I think I got to used to following other habits that it’s become the norm for me to over eat and to pick the things that make me physically feel bad.

Even if one has high cholesterol or high blood pressure, ine can still be in tune with their body and it's cravings. Your body will tell you when you need a salad or veggies, vs. protein, carbs, etc. The key is to try to listen and zoom in on what your body is telling you that you are craving, BEFORE you are starving. Similar to "don't go food shopping when hungry", don't order or make your food once you have passed the hungry stage. It only leads to overeating. It also goes hand in hand with the "eat more, smaller meals throughout the day" concept--which is hard, but if one has healthy snacks on hand, it is doable).

Try 10 5 10 eat for 10 minutes then rest for 5 minutes then eat another 10 minutes. Chew your food slowly
