The detectives investigate a 'copycat' killer case, in which the murders seem racially charged...

"Trophy" (Season 6, Episode 12): Briscoe and Curtis (Jerry Orbach, Benjamin Bratt) investigate the murders of two teen-age boys that seem remarkably similar to murders committed five years earlier.

Show Synopsis: In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups: the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories. From Emmy-winning creator Dick Wolf, with its groundbreaking "ripped-from-the-headlines" format, comes the highly-acclaimed, longest-running crime series in television history.

This episode is just flat out sad...any episode that involves kids kills me

It's frightening to know that these creeps exist in real life that think killing is fun, especially somebody who kills kids, elderly people, disabled people or anybody else who can't fight back.

I think this one was loosely based on the Atlanta Child Murders. I personally liked it because it really focused on Jill Hennessy's character, ADA Claire Kincaid, and includes some backstory for ADA Jack McCoy (Sam Waterston).

Seriously, stop airing clips to episodes that aren’t available for streaming. It’s like they’re taunting us.
