Science-Fiction short film 'The Tunnel' - Directed by André Øvredal

"The Tunnel" is a science-fiction film taking place in an overpopulated future where we follow a small family in heavy traffic on their way back home from the beach. Between them and their gigantic home city there is a tunnel with a horrifying purpose.

Based on the short story "The Tunnel Ahead" by Alice Glaser

André Øvredal also directed "The Autopsy of Jane Doe" and "Trollhunter".

This short film won following awards:

Stunning concept...random victims, who have little time to dwell on their upcoming demise.
I assume the pills being handed out by the father were mildly sedative to ease the panic or inevitability outcome of the process, had he and his family been in the wrong lane.
A superbly crafted film and kudos to everyone involved!
